BillStock returns to Olney area after six-year hiatus
The third BillStock live music festival will be held on June 8th, 2024, from 12 to 9 pm at Davis Airport in Laytonsville, MD. BillStock is a family friendly event featuring over 50 musicians, most of whom are Sherwood alumni who performed in “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival.”
BillStock #3 will be a benefit concert for the Olney Community Youth Choirs, which serve students in grades 4–8 regardless of school affiliation. The Youth Choir nurtures students’ passion for singing and cultivating the next generation of vocalists. Additionally, the Sherwood Community Chamber Ensemble includes 11 members of the Community Choir who specialize in performing small ensemble choral music.
BillStock was created by Bill Evans, founder and artistic director of SCCC, in 2016 after he retired from Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, MD. At Sherwood, Bill taught choral music for 37 years and was the Producer and Musical Director for Sherwood High School’s original musical production, “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival.” BillStock serves as both a reunion for cast members of “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival” and a charity event for the Greater Olney community.

Food from Origins BBQ and Grill will be available for purchase on-site. You may also bring your own food.
The venue will have free parking. We will have on-site security for attendees’ safety.
