Sherwood Community Youth Choir to perform at Olney Days

The Sherwood Community Youth Choir will be performing at the Olney Days Party in the Park on Saturday April 29th, 2023, on the MedStar Health Stage at 4:30 p.m. 

The setlist includes “Sesere Eeye” arr. Mark O’Leary, “The Night Wind” by Mark Patterson, and “Dreams” by The Cranberries arr. Ashley Grantham.

Launched in the fall of 2022, the Sherwood Community Youth Choir is directed by Ashley Grantham, a music educator and Sherwood HS graduate. Grantham is supported by Michele Rohan, Assistant Director/Collaborative Accompanist, and Zoe Bulitt, Choral Manager. SSYC was created to help fill the need for singing opportunities for children in the Olney community, and the choir consists of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students inspired to be the next generation of singers. SCYC currently consists of 22 singers.

Olney Manor Park is located at 16601 Georgia Ave. There will be free and paid parking options available.
